The face is one the common areas of the human body that is highly prone to skin diseases such as cellulitis. Here are some of the specific complications on different parts of the face caused by cellulitis.

The Nose

Cellulitis is very common in visible parts of the body that are prone to dust, dirt, and other external factors that can irritate the human skin. Cellulitis of the face or also known as face cellulitis is very common since the face is the most sensitive part of the human body in which it attracts a lot of bacteria from the physical environment of a person. The nose however is one of the major targets of a cellulitis causing bacteria in which the first symptom is the mild swelling of the nose.

The Skin

Taking a bath regularly is one way to prevent skin irritations that may lead to infections and skin disorders. Bacteria is the major cause of cellulitis that is why good hygiene must be observe in order to avoid cellulitis skin infections. During the first sign of cellulitis, do not hesitate to have a check-up with a dermatologist in order to avoid further skin complications.

The Ears

Ear piercing is one of the main causes of ear cellulitis in which can affect the hearing ability of a person. The earlobe is the first part of the ear that is affected by ear cellulitis in which bacteria was able to penetrate inside through ear piercing. If ever planning to have an ear piercing, it is more hygienically to ensure that the earrings that will be used are properly sanitized.

The Eyes

There are two kinds of eye cellulitis in which are periorbital cellulitis and preseptal cellulitis. Periorbital cellulitis is the skin infection surrounding a person’s eye. Insect bite is the common cause of this kind of skin infection. The symptom of a periorbital cellulitis is that its victims suffer inflaming of the eye that leads to swelling when not treated immediately. Preseptal cellulitis is also common with the first kind of cellulitis in which the only difference is that it is very common to children and infants and the eyelids are the major target of the bacteria. Getting medical attention is the remedy to this kind of skin disorder in order to avoid further complications.
